Odisha ace Ansu Bhuyan bagged a double by winning both the singles and doubles titles in the AITA-OTA Mens 50K Tennis Tournament, held at Gurukul Resort Tennis Complex, Mendhasal, near Bhubaneswar from February 11 to 15, 2019. A total of 35 players from 10 states participated in this tournament.
Top seed Bhuyan beat statemate and second seed Chinmay Pradhan 6-4, 6-1 in singles final. In doubles title clash, Bhuyan and his Andhra Pradesh partner Sajid-ur Rahman defeated Maharashtra-Telangana combination of Fayyaz Hussain Quadri and Taha Kapadia 6-3, 6-4.
